they've got:
Reason:

Cubase SX 2:
2 levels
120€ each level
Ableton Live:
€100 for 5 lessons of 2 hours
Logic Pro
€120
Which one should i follow?
I use fruityloops right now, and i kinda know how it works, so i'd like to go on with a "better" program, but wich kinda works teh same as fl.
more info on www.trixonline.be |
none of these programms remotely work like FL each one is almost completely different...but if it was up to me...id say logic...
Logic is being used by producers such as, DSL, Karl K, Kaso, J kennedy, Calyx, Teebee...and more...And id say its prolly easier to learn than reason and cubase...and ableton is shit if you ask me...
Reason would be good to learn cause of the sounds you can create...but id deff go with logic...

ok are you telling me you dont know what compression is, or reverb, flangeing etc etc etc, or how about a limiter.
experiment, the best way to learn is to sit there for weeks and actually do it, no course can teach you all you need to know, d.i.y.

aight what i ment, you cant ask questions to a piece of paper, neither there'll appear a hand out of yer computer when browsing a forum to help u with that one question. It's all theory you get from written things.
sorry for that suck thing

Yeah, your post was clear enough (i also think that having someone in person teaching you something and having the possibility to ask questions is more effective than spending hours staring at some screens). But toneloc has a different view on that matter, but that's what a forum is for.
So apologies accepted.

making a reece is easy........take two saw waves, detune one of them, add ditortion or filter etc etc to suit your taste, then layer a sub under neath it.
remember......the person whos teaching cubase, reason or whatever might not know what a reece is........not every one is into dnb, they might be from a rock band production point of view, or even worse...they might be into house.lol.
they are going to be there to teach you how to use the software....but it could be from the point of view of sequencing, or arranging.......it might not be about synthesis......you might find they know less than you think.
waste of money!!!!!
