Thanks again for the excellent and thoughtful responses to my earlier versions. I took every criticism into consideration when finisheing this track off. Well, I guess its finished, still isn't perfect but oh well - maybe the mastering process will sort out some of the frequency conflicts in the hi-mid range. Tried having a cool down in the middle, but instead made it shorter and added a few more change ups to keep it interesting. This track got almost 600 hits and I have had numerous requests for the MP3 of the windows media version posted on acidplanet.com, so here it is. (also - click on ap link below for a preview of another similar style track). Again, thanks so much for all the great input - you guys rock!!

Im obviously one of few that didnt like your track that much.. not a fan of such drum beating- could call this drumcore..

but I have to to give you respect for coming this sharp in the directness of your approach and that "in your face" effect which is quite present here, again

Nice track.
Bass sounds clean, drumrolls are dope,
Playful ideas with a no-bullshit and heavy-as-fuck attitude and an ever-shifting story.
Eq'ing is very well.
I like that bambientlike-bell sound which enters at 4:13, maybe use it in the beginning as wel?

very hype!

really well made track

i like the break in the middle, lets me catch my breath, but it comes a little late, almost died. when the song drops again i would have used the frames at 4:11 with the synth chords., to give it a different feel. then id bring in the crazyness that you had made after the second drop.

you can hear the time put in to this track.

i have to say my favorite thing about it is the initial drop. the bass has some real punch to it.

mix down is exellent

im gunna get chilton to play this at gator's, you should come and see how it sounds on the system. pm me if you want info.

Thanks for the reviews. However, just curious, Ultradark was the first to rate this and gave it a 5, and all the reviews since have been positive but this ended up with a low 3. I've got no problem if people don't like the track and think it deserves a 1, but please leave a comment explaining your rating. Thanks. Spliff

The main reece sound was created using the virus hardware synth and manually twisting two of its filters to the metronome at 190 bpm and recording it in audio. I then sampled this small audio segment and beefed it up with waves stuff, but I think the sound your refering to was made using a backwards snare that leads up to every second snare hit.

If the virus were mine, I'd have a sample pack ready for this site for sure, but it belongs to my out of town buddy stu magoo and he sleeps with it under his pillow.

Personally loving this version!! Loved the last one but I think the edit at just gone 5 minutes works well.

I hope you don't mind, but I have encouraged the sharing of this track (and a cppl of others) on the P2P I use, the feedback from ppl who have taken it is all good. Loving the dark meanness of it.

A great improvement on an already wicked track.

Sounds amazing on this side, no problems with the levels.

Tune has a some great samples, drum work is fantastic, reminds me of Titan.

Not much constructive crtisisim on this side, the tune has a great flow, structure is well put together, and your work with the virus samples, and vocal samples is top shelf. It lean's on the dark side, therefore will appeal to some, but not to all.

A lot of time work, and detail has obviously gone into this tune, and you hit the mark. So now you can sit back, enjoy the tune yourself, and start into something fresh!! Looking forward to hearing the next production!!
