whats the tune like, never heard it.
the only nin stuff i had sounded really miserable, good production, just not very cheerful

It's a .sit file which is a the mac's equivalent of a zip file. You can open it with a free program called Stuffit Expander, which can be downloaded here.
Maybe the archive only contains Garageband files, but it could just as well contain raw samples 
I'm just too lazy to check it out myself

well it does say garage band 2, but if u un - stuff it and theres wavs then let us have em, go on go on go on.
i cant find a way of getting stuff it other than above, and everthing else i tried says their not compatible.
and im really not giving some wanker my credit card info just for a trial

You've clicked on the wrong file. One of the versions requires credit card details, the other doesn't.
Download it from here. You'll probably need to give a working email address, but at least no credit card details.
