well I have no idea how to get that kind of sound.. I'm trying to get my breaks sounding just like amens and/or firefights but it JUST DON'T WORK !!

getting those damn drums right is the most difficult part .
I allways have troubles getting those kicks , snares , ghostsnares and hats together so they would sound right.
and yep , those firefights are magnificant ! I should like to know how to make such drumloop like that !

you can't make an amen from scratch electronically...its a live sampled drumloop...but with, i think, an amen and the tighten up break combined (and there may be another in the mix) you can make a firefight.

sound wise you have to use an amen, programming wise isnt exactly the hardest thign in the world...slow down a amen or fireifht break downt one octave and listen to the patern of each sample...then copy it...and jsut remember the sequencing..its a good way to teach yourself break patterns
