ya, i find it easier to do drums, each in seprate pattern, but if ALL the elements are in one pattern for that section at least. if there all split up, i actually find it easier to make variations at certin parts.... i can end up with over 70 patterns and variations are easier to do with 1 pattern box, instead of the entire 4 bar drum loop.

If you use the fruity pad controller you can name the keys. The FPC is an awesome tool, I seriously reccomend learning it.

Well, the easiest way to organize your self in FL is to group the patterns in your playlist (and to train your memory).
You can move patterns up and down the playlist (change their positions) by pressing ALT and UP or DOWN keys. Group them, change their colours and enjoy the new organization you've juz made!

Sorry but the FPC is crap, when they add envelopes I might use it but until then its shite and I'll stick to my layers.

with fruity slicer you can name each slice, for easy use in the piano roll, hell they even have preset names for quick clicking.
where it shows all the slice, just lickt he desierd slice, than click or right click on the name that's just above the picture. beside the reves button.
you can even set the key to be tirggerd to go along with MIDI protocal (i.e. C#3 Sidestick.)

wtf is FPC? looks like a budget version of battery
i found this in the Cubase settings... i think its similar to the cicular panning thing
Stereo Pan Law
There is a pop-up menu allows you to select one of three Pan modes.
0dB
-3dB(default)
-6dB
This is all related to the fact that without compensation, the power of the sum of the left and right side will be higher (louder) if a channel is panned center, than if it's panned left or right.
To remedy this, the Stereo Pan Law setting allows you to attenuate signals panned center, by -6 or -3 dB (default). Selecting the 0 dB option effectively turns off "constant-power panning". Experiment with the modes to see which fits best in a given situation.
--------------------
how the fuck can you pan center?? does this mean it might be louder if you constantly pan left or right?
