reaktor's awesome, but someone who doesn't know anything about synthesis might think it sux...it's very powerful and there's practically no limit as to what you can do with it...it's not exactly the easiest vsti to use, but if you're willing to learn it, it's awesome...

it's modular, and i gave up on it too, even though i adore the sound quality it's got, and the creativity. just you can go to make a song and get lost in the making the synth, bit. cool to make a nice signature lead. or pick up some preset stuff, and tweak that.

Reaktor rocks man, it has lots of synths that are wicked, i.e. Photone with lots of presets from Photek to mess with.

yes photone is good, titan is probably easier to use...looking at photone does my head in.......but menace is the dnb ensemble, layer with sub and u have the ultimate c4c style b line, sounds sweet run through a band pass filter.
