does anyone know of a software program that will automatically sync and beatmatch wavs and mp3s, i know theres a million of these available but i need one thats accurate.
i got rid of my decks so i could pay for my studio, i just fancy being able to compare my tracks in a mix, and im being lazy cause i want the computer to do it for me
i guess it will need to have some kind of sequencer, id like to be able to choose where the tracks come in i just want it to accurately mix them for me.

No mixing prog will ever mix your dnb tracks accurate. Either the bpm meter trips, or it gives way to low values. If you want to mix some straight beats, any such program will do. I think traktor would be best for what you want to do. If it ain't you can also try djdecks & bpm studio.

Exactly. That's why we listen to DnB, not hardcore

Protools doesn't sync and mix automatically, but it has a good beat detector indeed.
Try a demo of Native Instruments Traktor and check out if it can sync dnb properly.

Hello Friends
I have a knowledge on SVM ......
SVMlight is an implementation of Support Vector Machines (SVMs) in C. The main features of the program are the following:
* fast optimization algorithm
o working set selection based on steepest feasible descent
o "shrinking" heuristic
o caching of kernel evaluations
o use of folding in the linear case
* solves classification and regression problems. For multivariate and structured outputs use SVMstruct.
* solves ranking problems (e. g. learning retrieval functions in STRIVER search engine).
* computes XiAlpha-estimates of the error rate, the precision, and the recall
* efficiently computes Leave-One-Out estimates of the error rate, the precision, and the recall
* includes algorithm for approximately training large transductive SVMs (TSVMs) (see also Spectral Graph Transducer)
* can train SVMs with cost models and example dependent costs
* allows restarts from specified vector of dual variables
* handles many thousands of support vectors
* handles several hundred-thousands of training examples
* supports standard kernel functions and lets you define your own
* uses sparse vector representation
This applet classifies any data set in this format. Example data sets are available here. The applet is an implementation of the Naïve Bayes, Gaussian, k-Nearest-Neighbours, Decision Tree, Multilayer Perceptron (Neural Network) and Support Vector Machines classifiers.
More information about the applet is available here.
Thank You

im no expert with Traktor but you can create your own beat maps, so time signature does not make a difference at all.. you just cant be a retard and spend some time with your beats (which i hope you do)
Sounds like Traktor Pro is a good investment (or a quick search on a torrent site) for you.

I play using Traktor and gotta say that from 95% the accuracy is pretty good. No probs with syncing. You can set cue points for mix out and mix in your tracks. All you gotta do is to load the track into the decks. But whats this mixing all about?

A good mix software i'd say it's ableton live. you'll have to spend some time though to warp your tracks first and put some markers on certain beats to make the tracks beatmatch. but after you do that you will no longer fear about desync. you just hit play and think about good ol' sunny days. tracktor gives you that hands on decks feeling that ableton doesn't. i personally chose traktor for track to track mixing but when i want to be creative i switch to ableton.
another mix software is mixmeister, an avorted copy of ableton. it's 3 times more complicated and 3 times less productive. but at least it tells you the key of the track.

couple of weeks ago I came across "DeckaDance", and I got to say that after using traktor for around 3 years I wasn't expecting that anything could be better. I was wrong tbh..
It has very friendly GUI, it keeps tempo much better than traktor, you can scratch on it (just a nice touch) and overall I will put it one step higher than traktor for the ease of use, lots of FX and all you need.
Try this one, it might be only me but personally I like it a lots.
