know the feeling working on a track for hours and hours, pc-crash and that without having saved (/me trows some Roll Eyes @ himself)... they better stay out of my neighbourhood then!

Yo!

Use cooledit or soundforge man! U can cut & paste your mixes, won't notice a thing afterwards. so if u screw up a mix u can just start over again & cut'n'paste Smile do keep an eye on the gain settings on your mixer.. gotta stay the same.
cooledit even has a function that asks u if you'd like to restore the last recording after a program or system crash.
