On April 15th, 2005, approximately at 11:30 PM EST, my dreads were chopped. They were chopped!! Chopped off like the tail of a dead pig. This thread is in memory of the two and a half years I spent with my seemingly disease infested dreads. (I think there was some asbestos in them.
)
I'm gonna miss you little fellas!!!

dreads grown properly shouldnt smell, their self cleaning and you only need to wash them in water. designer dreads done at hairdressers suck ass!!
my mates got so heavy they started tering out at the roots.

Haha, princess......silly.
And yeah, they were getting too smelly (hasslesome), they're not self cleaning, and Halphy, I hadn't cut my hair in over 9 years.......once you put that much dedication, time, dedication, sacrifice, and dedication into something like that......then maybe you'd understand.
I wasn't actually crying.....that was merely for effect. Maybe I should have used merely the sad smiley? Tears pouring from the eyes a little too much?

I like dreads when they are made properly....and when they are not to fat....
I've seen spudleyQ's dreads and for me they were a bit to fat....and I would have cut them off to...

You're better off without em mate - its always a shock at first but everone I know who's cut off their dreads always looked better without them.
and to be honest I think 90% of the time dreads look silly on white people

I once "dumped" a boy because he said that
we white people aren't even allowed to have dreads that's only for the real jamaican people...
and that skaters/hiphoppers aren't allowed to ware hiphopcloths...like the wide pants and all that because that is only for the people out off the bronx....

I never said that white people weren't allowed to have dreads & in fact I have loads of friends who have or used to have them & I dont have anything against them.
Its just my personal opinion that I think they look better on black people or people who have darker skin & hair. Most white peoples hair isnt really suited to dreadlocks - the hair isnt thick enough so it all frays out & doesnt make decent looking locks

I have nothing against a personal opinion...sometimes he just doesn't fit with mine....and that's why I reacted...I sometimes do like the slirty things coming out of the dreads... |
