Finish this off after your exams!! Pretty good start, nice clear sounding drums, good programming (velocities are very well chosen), the whole track has a real funky feeling 
Bass is not very good sounding though IMO, the bass melody is not bad but it just doesn't sound very thick, it's more a hollow bass sound. Guess you're still working on that

yeah i know, but i'm always experimenting, for this bass i used tau, lowered 2 octaves, i wanted to play with its decay, then put some overdrive on it and a filter, but i think i'll have to resample a bit first, and refilter before it will sound 'bass'.

i'm not too fond of this one, sounds too simple to me, it's just drums (which are very nice tho, good samples, well placed, they swing), atmospherics, but overdone, and then a bassline i like, and well worked on, but it does sound cheap (plattekes)...
not my thang, but keep it driving !

i know what you mean, it doesnt contain much, but i lost access to my laptop, so i had to work on a pentium2, 266mhz, so resources are minimal... when i get this on my laptop(got m back now) i'll probably finish it.
i'll post some new works now i think of it...
