not a dime...ive even tried selling mixdemos at shows...people are slack...and only want things form tehheadliners...guess thats the price of not being famous !

hmm I once earned 100 SK [our money] for putting one track to our compilation and once when I played in club they gave me 300 SK for performance
and when I was playing in Presov which is city about 500km out of my place they gave me 1000 sk to pay my trip there [it's a price for ticket if you travel by train] otherwise I gave about 100cds with my music for free to my friends and djs etc..
so I guess i have profit about -2000 or -3000 sk now
which is about -100$

Making money? Hell no. I lose money everyday! Time working on tunes that I could've been working. Money spent on gear that could have been saved. Money made doesn't come close to those costs - I'll be in the red 'til I'm dead.

i did a variation of what tracassassin did...sold easy to make rap beats to high school "clicks" for their raps...they actually paid like $15 a beat too it was awesome. some of em still come around in fact. if you really wanna make money off music in the states, resort to producing rap. the kids go nuts for it
