hey

i'm planning to buy monitors this summer to increase the quality of my tunes.

can you give some hints,


i know their may be lot's of crap on the market. behringer has got a studio monitor in their product line but I heard this wasn't such a good idea

what I want is pristine sounding stuff for dnb and beyond

Hmmm, honestly, it all depends on your price range. What's your price range? Because monitors span across a wide array of costliness.

you need to look for a flat response.......buying speakers that have a boost on the low end can seriously fuck up your mix....and thats the most important part........get the mix right and it should sound good anywhere, get it wrong and even a mastering engineer will struggle to sort it.........

ya i heard thoes yamaha's are great, just high end is a bit harsh to use in prolonged use.
