you don't need a module
nowadays midi controllers work with the hosts you build your tunes in.
you'll prolly run junglist vst in sx, logic, sonar, or other capable hosts.
now with a pc-300 from roland you have a good midi keyboard
it's not programmable (in a way) or assignable but it does the job. unless you want to play out live i would suggest a better one.
when bying one i have only one tip.
play on it. feel how the keys responds, make sure they let you play some patches / stabs/ etc.
so you feel the aftertouch very well.
imo.... very important.
i'd suggest you do a search on google (hi miss) with the words "midi controller + your host (to check if it's compatible, most do!!) and roam a few stores to find your best deal
order at musicstore.com (german)...their prices can't be found here. (although, imo)

But if I don't need a module, I will surely need a usb-plug, no? I hope you're right, cuz otherwise I won't have enough cash to pay all that
thanks for the tip !

good and cheap: evolution, m-audio( as stated by surya)
.... also look at the novation controller/interface keyboards (been hearing lot's of good stuff about them), but they are a bit more pricey.
Roland keyboards are very good (i use my keys of xp60 for midi myself)...but pricey compaired to evolution & m-audio.
go get one

Evolution is bought by M-Audio, and now they are in fact the same internally, with a different housing.

Yep. You might find cheaper models, but with less keys. If you're not much of a pianist, than a 2 octave model might be sufficient for you...
