Or just let your anger rule and write out your frustrations!
I'm not sure yet, but i think someone has stolen my Gridlok - Shallow on white yesterday...

consider yourself lucky that they only took one plate
a mate of mine once got ALL his DSCI4 s and TECH ITCH REC. s stolen at some lame party. They where organised by label so they must have just taken a good hand full.

There was this one time in at our local youthhouse where we organised a party.
And during the party I noticed a record I wanterd to play was missing.
I got a little paranoid and asked around. And there was this one possibility that it were some guys from another youthhouse who did a "pub tour" and they already left so it could be them...
Of course I was really pissed about it, checking my records again, noticing that there were about 12-15 records missing.
The day after I posted it on breakz, and after a while another dnb dj from the village of that youthhouse reacted, saying he received 2-3 records from my missing list from a guy.
Turned out it was one of the guys that stole my records, and they gave a few away to a dnb dj they knew, because it was not their kind of thing. What do you expect to steal on a dnb party????
But all turned out well, my records weren't in very good condition anymore (drunk people and records don't match), but I had them all back. And I got to know a few djs who became friends of mine because of that event.
So if ever records of you get stolen, I know how it feels to go through that. But I hope my story gives you some hope that there might be a chance you get them back.
If I can give you one advice, then it would be that you have to TALK ABOUT IT a lot, to everybody who was there at the party, on all the fora you know, just about everywhere you can think of.
There is always a chance that someone reading, listening knows more about it...

its not making the flightcase, but having the wright equipement!!!!
I worked at a flightcase company for a few years. the L en V profiles, the corner profiles and the wood (dont use just plain wood cause its too heavy, Bulldog-plates or even synthetic are used very often in this kind of cases ) arent the issue. the way you put it together is! when using just screws and nails the case will fall appart eventually. use rivet's (dont know the proper english word) inserted with pneumatic tools to make sure they are tight and never come off. always make a technical drawing first so you dont mistake, making the case youre own is much cheaper but not if you gotta start over 2 or 3 times.
Anyway if you have some specific questions about cases, just shoot...
cheers

Aah good to know, been looking for a case for my equipment a few times, but never found one that would fit right, and custom made cases are even more expensive...
