Yeah, heard Simon Bassline Smith talkin about it..
But those are expensive, aren't they?

2k for the new ones, but there are lot's of old ones, a virus b you could get for a few hundred. unless they stopped making them. wait for a model to be stopped from production.

with the revolution of the midi keyboard. it was that some synths could be sold without he keyboard to play. made them cheaper, and smaller.
there is the synth with keyboard also, but for a several thousdand dollar synth, it's cheaper to get the rack version.

Nope, you can let your sequencer just communicate via MIDI with the unit, so you don't need a keyboard.

if you use FL, the LAST tab for samples, has arp and echo. the echo also makes any sample FAT!
if you make the time on it NOTHING, and put on phat mode. it layers sines and shit nicly.

I know you are using fruity loops 3 for all your drum&bass tracks, which isn't really THE program for creating heavy basslines, but i found one getting pretty close to a fat bassline. This is how it goes (thugged out bitch,... anyway) : use the JrBass-preset from the 3xOsc and give it some bassboost, not too much and...voila.
