Just a little long. Dont really like the vocal in it though, it sounds a bit weird. Beat kicking in: very tight beat. Good job, but there's something wrong with it. Could also be the very low quality Im listening at (im streaming @ acidplanet), but the snare gets louder suddenly well you need to check that. Wait, i think the snare gets twice as loud because you used it twice at the same time. Doesnt sound reallt great Beat is very good without that though. (self-made or loop??) Amen coming in: is nice, dont really like the vocals in the part where you are using the amen. I can hardly hear the bassline, but could be quality too. Track isnt really steady. There are good variations, but I think there are too many breaks. The structure is a bit weird. You need the drums and basses in the song way longer. And also make sure you make some variations on that beat. But this track certainly has potential man, good job! I cant rate this yet though, because of the low sound quality, but put a better version online and I will rate this. Marine: the beat is looped, edited in soundforge for that flanging sound. some people dont like it, but when i use to work on stale beats i liked adding some reverb or flange to bring a new element into the music. for me flange and reverb are great when your in a state of altered conciousness. The bassline is actually quite wicked, it sounds nice and clean from my monitors and roars out of my subsystem in my car, and at clubs where i played this tune out at. the reason the track isnt steady, is that I was going for an album feel for this song, and others I have made in the past. I hate streamling work, bores me to death., if you have ever listened to any of my other songs you will see that I dont like keeping things the "same" for an extended period of time. in fact you can expect sound changes every 16 to 32 bars.
