i don't know what he means about your vocals, but that vocals overpower the entire track. hell sounded weird before it start.
learn mic recording tecniques. or get yourself a better mic. that was too loud for comfort.
so may you complted your objective of making a kreepy vocal.
than you use an amen with no layering. he gave you one shot samples.
your melody is cool. sounds like an alternative line not used. the synth is cool too.
the background synth go nicly with it.
this song had potential it's way damn short!!!!!

it's definitely the fact that my mic sucks. and the song is too short because i didnt have any more ideas for it, so i felt it was better to cut it off instead of droning for another 2 minutes or so..

Neat narrative, bass preset/patch too thin.Try add some more content pads/SFX etc
Arrangement/length too short.Mixdown/levels could do with some tweaking,EQ&compression to bring levels together.
Good effort,Keep trying you'll get there
4/10

liking the intro sample, but think it sounds bit distorted in places, but that adds to it a bit i think..beats are sounding tight too. when it drops you;ve kind of heard all the bass bits before...could have maybe changed it up a bit for the drop...mmm like the change at 2.19, that plucky sounds makes me think of japan
quite atmospheric i think, with all the high end lead u have. a bit short maybe, but i like this..good luck with the competition.

Cool vocal you added.
Apache rhythm
Nice amen edits, clean sound.
Bassline is a bit lacking. There is a sub, and there is the mid of a bassline, but no bass.
Like that trancey melody you added, sounds sweet!
Quite nice, but lacks some depth.

Vocals do sound like their through a bad mic - as you said. First drums are nice and sticky and go great with the grimey dry bass. Let that go for a bit longer perhaps. Amens come in really well but could have been saved for some kind of drop - I guess its not that style of track. The amens are cut and edited really well and sound really nice. Are you using the loops from the sample pack on this site? What are you using to cut it up? Actually it sounds a lot like you started with the original winstons on this one if I' not mistaken. The sort of stop start structure prevents this from really taking off and rolling, but still a really good quality track, well mixed and prof. sounding.

Really nice drum section. Bass riff can be good, but you don't choise the good sound
. Same for melodi.
Nice Mix.

Opening voice sample cool and interesting, heard a little clipping between the female vocals and talking sample. Starts rockin with Amen beat, some cool chopping going on. I like all of the trancy BG sounds. I expected the bass line to do a little more than it did. Overall; a memorable tune, very well mixed/EQ'd.
