Guys, I constantly see that you make awesome bass sounds, and I am unable to make anything similar with the 3xosc I have here. So, could you please tell me a link to a free but GOOD VSTi bass synthesizer on which I can make awesome bass sounds...as you guys make. Smile

there is free bassline i found that ROCKS!

called PRessure by http://www.tweakbench.com/index.php

it's under instruments.

also, with http://www.mda-vst.com/ mda pack, there is a SubSynth effect, which adds sub to ANY imput, above a certin dB, which can make even the least likley of samples, a awsome reece, with a clear bassline.

it's a .dll, has that got sumting to do with it?
it doesnt appear in the map where i extracted it neither...

Make sure you place the .dll (dynamic link library - whatever that means) of the downloaded plugin in the VST(i)-plugin folder of FruityLoops.
Restart and check your settings/preferences.

once the .dll is placed in the VST folder, you must go and right click Inster Channle> the instruemtns (like you're going to put a 3x0sc or a tb404 into the channles) and select MORE... at the TOP!

there is the list of your plugins. and vst's once we detect them. to detect for the VST (the .dll you put in vst folder) click REFRESH at the bottem right corner, and just do a fast scan.

now you'll notice in the list that there are the names of the instruments, and effects there. these are only the Instruemtns selected. so go down the list and find a RED one, which means newly added to the list.

click the empty box to the left, it will have a F there. that means it is added to the list.

same thing for Effects.

effects won't work in the instruments, and instruments, won't do jack as an effect.

in fact there are very very much vsti free on the web , beaucoup quoi, see www.kvr-vst.com and sometimes vsti free was very very cool like for example crystal, monomate, synth 1 and other... i've a lot of vsti free and not free and i use 50% vsti free downloaded .

I discoved a free synth called Triangle II the other day and I've got to say I love it, you can get some dark bass sounds out of it and it's really low on cpu.

I'd also recommend buying Pentagon I and z3ta+ as well.

It probably uses about as much CPU as the 3xOsc in fruity.

nope: fruity's 3*osc gives me max 2% cpu, traingel between 10 and 40%
Life is hard when running 8 yr old pc's
