ohh man, I thought "amens,... gotta check this out"
and then I thought "rapid fire, gotta be somethin' aggressive"
but then.. it was like *relaaaaax*
this is a nice song, don't get me wrong, but the title... anyway, cool drums, tune = relax

The music played (I assume it's not loops) is great, a really nice melodic sound, well put together. The drum n bass aspect of the tune is lacking though. The amen used is too quite, needs to be pumped up a lot more to have more presence in the track, as well, some basic drum programing is needed to bring in a bass, or sub. There is also a lack of standard stucture (see some posts in dnb production). Towards the end, a harder beat kicks in which is more in tune with DnB. Overall, some great work on the melody, although a lot of work is needed in the drum area. Looking forward to hearing future productions.

thanks for reviews
Rude: title is a little worng chosen maybe, but it was the best I could come up with in those 5 seconds
(I was mainly thinking about the 2nd part of the song, the more rough like dnb
)
thefunke1: amen could use a little more boost, true.
I dont get this: "some basic drum programing is needed to bring in a bass, or sub."
The sub is in it, but maybe a little too soft.
The beat doesnt change btw, its just the more mysterious part of the song. there is more bass in there though.
But the structure isn't that bad now, is it? it may not be the standard dnb structure, but it has a drop and a break.
Halph-Price: the guitar was just added in a spur of the moment
I thought it would be nice to add something unusual.
I will boost the amen some more. But I also think it's my speakers maybe... I need some good monitors I guess... I always have some problems with volumes and stuff, mostly of the drums and the bass part.
I have a 4.1 soundsystem which is about 4 years old now, but still works pretty well. The bass might just be a little too loud, because my song's bass sound good on it.
btw: how do I get 2 stars, nobody rated this
I need more reviews please!

Ok so here is my opinion. Ilike the idea with the synth pad and the flute. But what is the idea with the acoustic guitar? I love the loop but i thik it should be more higer aboy 10 -15 khz. Great stuff with the stereo efect left-right. I also like the pads and the intro. Also i think you have too much of base somehowthe baseline is dominating. If i rate this from 1 to 10 i woul give it 8.5

nice chill atmos, but the guitar playing rock like tune??
drums are way too low in volume and lacking hi-end.
and u cnt say anithing like "its the 4.1 speakers cos I heard betta trax made on laptop speakers. really
nice pads tho, good lfo or woteva u put there
dont like thr panning of drums like that atall!!
the bassline is empty and boring. do something about it
some nice breaks u got here
overal: 2/5

very nice flowing melody in the beginning, but, as has been said, the guitar is kinda experimentation gone wrong. nice amen rolls on that beat when it's comin in. these drums are too quiet tho. take your melody down a little, balance everything out.
ooh the drums are sometimes very messy when you're doing all those complicated stutters, and its killin me. you seem to be a guy who's very good at making melodies, but doesn't seem to be able to fit everything in just right. aak the beat panning makes me sick. on vinyl that would sound awful. this is more like a rock song altogether, or downtempo like halph price said.
ooh. dropped out and now it sounds a lil more like dnb.
well, overall, i'll have to agree with the others on 2/5. would do ok for another genre probly, but there's just too many experimental non-dnb elements in here that make it stray a little from the course. like i said earlier tho, ur a tru melody man

Intro is kinda corny, with the sweeping pads and the guitar.
Oh, the piano makes it even cornyer! Sounds like the theme of some kind of dream trance track like Robert Miles used to make! Not really feeling that.
Drums: quite nice, but they need a boost.
Bassline could use one too
The hard panning on the beats you use sometimes feels kinda forced. Make it less extreme maybe?
The darker basslines you bring in later on are quite nice.
Still not feeling that corny stuff though!

more people need to start using acoustic geetars. that is a very nice add to dnb. and the peeano is awesome. nice melody. very nice drum programming. the bass needs a little more. but then again i am listening on crappy headphones. very chill. altogether i like!!!!!!
