I though we were talking about diy PA/homestudio systems.

I haven't read the books you have mentioned but please don't make a "life end dead end room" that will be like a potato burned one one side and raw on the other , not nice to eat .

I will write a post on decent monitoring and acoustics soon ( very controversial I promice !!!)

P.s. The 21" speakers are meant to be used with at least 4 together , than the lowest freq. they can reproduce will be 30 Hz . the highcutoff of such a system must not be higher than 50/60 Hz . Anyway it is old technology , today they use line array systems even for the subs .

A great book for sound in general is Yamahas' live sound reinforcment & tech manual.
It contains a huge wealth of knowledge. And a guy I know said that it was one of his text books
at full sail. @$30.00
