Please check out my new track 'are you rock' and post your comments here!!!

i guess this one's a little commercial; don't know if i've got the drop second drop quite right so tell me what you think . no copyrighted samples; i got them all from a site where they're all usable, ps. try to ignore the buzzing/hissing sound that you hear at the very beginning and throughout - it's becuase the drum machine i used is a demo program.

wow, my 1st reviw n its gonna be bad, sorry Frown

the sound: where IS the snare? the vocals are interesting. whats with the popping sounds? ah, the demo program Wink
also I cant quite figure out what you wanted with the stereo panning effect on the otherwise ok percussive rhytmic section

the melody:.. is quite lame an instead of makin it more iteresting throughout the track, you worked with different instrmuents on the same melody. why? Huh

arrangement: this more of a intro as is,, than a song. try giving more authority to it.

overall: bad,sorry m8 Frown

This is a bit funky

Build up is gud, so is the use of the synth very nice work wiv dat.

But the one issue i got wiv it is its 2 god damn slow and lacks ne thing that makes it stand out.
Nice panning of that hi-hat/electric sound or wot eva it is.

Ur rite that hissing souind is annoying.
But very cool idea. 3/5 total. peace Rinse

she's saying she's not better, but she knows she is.

i don't know, i like a good swim every now and again.

but ya the snare need's to be a bit sharper. it's too squishy.

it's not fast enough to be dnb, but i understand what you're trying to do, honestly i like it though.

it did get me pumping.

ewww, at 3:30 you could have made that a pretty sweet first drop if you pick the tempo up by double. need some ghost snares and hihats to be going in a flurry there.

but ya, you need to pick up the pace to run fast enough for dnb, the tip is not to bounce on every beat but every other beat. so you have the beats that they boucne to and a bunch of little pitters in between.

the build up to the second drop there was good though man.

Kinda cool buildup, but the drop doesn't work. The drums are totally lacking power and the bassline sounds a bit dull too. Not liking that snare at all! And phatten up those hats a bit.

Trance patch sounds fairly decent, melody is fine too, and works fine with the vocal.

Dunno, sounds like you had a nice idea, but little inspiration. And work on those drums!

Anyway, this track is more of a trance-influenced breaks track than DnB, no?

Oh yeah, use a limiter to boost your volume, now it clips...

The 'song' gives me this warm and happy feeling. But it isn't really like a song, it's like this very long intro which is about to 'explode' just before the end of the song. So after the building up to a climax I would use (now I'm talking like a pro, which I'm not, anyway...) an other, more heavy drumline, so you've got a difference between the intro and the middle part. At least that's what I think, oh yeah nice 'are you rock' sample! Keep up the good work! Bigup
