need to know more about dnb production? check out the "back issues" in the forums of this site, or if u can't find somethin that references to what you wanna kno, jus post a question.
now to ur track...the beat needs to be louder
the filtered choir sound seems alright and the soft synth melody is nice, but the high pitched string you put in...really hurts my ears, and is not pleasant. after this it gets kinda liquidy with the little bubbly sounds.
hmm all through this i can definitely tell you're new, but i'm not completely ragging on you about it because this is your first track. no melodies clash in the wrong way, and the structure seems alright. listen to some more dnb music tho, and you'll get a real good sense of structure. figure out how to make the reece bass if u dont kno already. and read those helpful threads on these forums like i told you, itll do good for ya, always did for me
but if i was to rate this i'd say 3.5/5 structure, 2/5 production because the song seems kinda weak right now, you jus need to find that "big sound", hard to explain, and i'll say 2.5 overall. hope the info i've given can help you. peace.

ok
first of all
GODDAMN YOU PEOPLE WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEA OF PUTTING A RADIO IN A COMPUTER !
damn I can't figure out how to put it off
anyway, the first step into making drumnbass is finding a good program and learn to work with it. Second step is trying to make drumnbass, third step is to finish your first number. (ps. first songs = crap)
I've been producing for the last 3 months and I'm doin' quite well.. I think.. Be sure to put in a nice bass, cool drums and sweet synths. And perhaps some dark fx. I'll listen to it later, when I figured out how to stop this awfull radio
peace

You have some deep sub going on that no one can hear, but that is ideal for destroying your speakers. Please filter out all -30hz next time
Drums drown completely in the mix.
Sounds and themes sound more like 80s synthmusic than DnB imo.
Gets realy boring after a few minutes imo

This isn't really the kind of drum&bass I like, but it sounds quite professional. Very chill if that was your intention, but I would prefer putting more power in the bass and actually in the whole track. Half way the song there is a nice climax. And what about the last 40 seconds?
