wow, what a an annoying intro.

nice panning in the drums.

could use some variations in the drum loops, or bassline.

or something...

this was made in FL. the biggest flaw is the tendancy to repeat and loop over and over again.

dnb is defined by the artists variations. pretty strict genere. so it's the little things that makes it good.

so you got all the basics down, now just when tere's a change or things get boring add another variations. just a snare off beat, or something.

hell you got it all mostly there, that's a big step.

now fine tune it. an easy way, is to listen to it, find a spot that sounds like it needs to be redone, copy a specifc bar, copy the entire bar, hit F4 and paste it there, and just tweak it a bit.

that's all you need to do to remedy the boringness.

try working on another drum loop. for the second drop. and have a variations close to the original bassline in the second drop as well.

oh ya, and for the love of god, do something with that intro synth. you can go to a lot of differnet notes and it could be musical!!!!!

lol

you have infinte bars avalibe in fl. you should have at least 4 or 5 variations to choose from from small changes to big variations depending. usually a small variation after 4 bars and than at the 8th a big one. 16 bars or so you have to do something differnet so a big varition, even a totally new elemnt to introduce a new section of the song.

(you can double all teh nubmers there if it works better. so 8 bars do a small variation, and so one.)

this is the hardest part i find. getting the durms and bass there is easy enough.

trying to find variations that work is hard.

sometimes it's just an alternative drum work you give it in the middle of a break, or a few different notes in the bassline, or a opposite rhythem pattern. or just a little offtimed snare. or faster drum to make a tighter sund, evena complete pause.

i like this song though, just it's a bit repative.

i'd have to say that i do like way that the drum beat seems to jump in at you the way it does at the start, but the sounds you've used are few and far between. The bass line isn't bad and neither is the drum beat, but not for the whole tune. It definately needs more variation, not only in samples and sounds, but the way the sounds are used. For example maybe using resonance and cut off at some points to draw the sound into the drop, or maybe even out of it.

The constant panning of the drums gets really annoying. It's also something you shouldn't do imo.

Bassline sounds a bit standard.

The introusound that is also used troughout the track is very annoying too.

Sound is verry agressive, almost hurting my ears.

Hmmm, didn't like it much...
