you tried that lo-fi sound also DJslut.
the drum loop is too bass heavy, and sound very nasal, the high end seems to be down a bit.
if you did a hih-filter on the drums it would boost the low end and could cause that. and no boosting on the high end of the snares could too.
rest seems okay.
wait, is that mork and mindy? wtf.
i like how it goes in the end. not bad. vocals are a bit drowned out still, kinda seemd appropraite in the middle, but now it seems it's just bad eq'ing.

"Total Fucking Silence!". God I love that drop and how it builds up again. Good baselines and well build track.
Thing which bothers me most is the overall sound quality. With professional mastering this could rise to another level. Atleast good compressing and EQn to bring all the good stuff to daylight.
Good job and good luck with compo!

well like the way it goes straight into it, nice and meaty bass. thought the intro beats sounded a little dry tho, and actually the meaty sub sounds a bit too overpowering on the drop. the sub is well dominating the mix, and drowning the other sounds a bit. like the change at 1.55, but the sub is still drowning stuff a bit, which is a shame cos there are some really nice bits going on that you can't make out too well. sorry to concetrate on one bit, but i think that this would be a wicked track if it got another mix down. the second drop is ruff man, can properly see this going off on the dancefloor, but kinda like mine, i dunno if u could tell it was a remix apart from "the silence" sample. cool track tho man

Overall sound could use some clearing up, and sounds a bit overcompressed too.
Despite the variations in the drums and the filtering, it does get a bit repetetive.
The bassline that comes in around 3.55 is quite cool and a welcome change.
Quite nice, but with a little more time, this could have been a lot better.
