house bass it sounds like.

pretty quite all around...

you do a lot of false build ups.

like a backwards piano note, and crashes... or i get it, you did them both...

and then nothing ...

wow you use it alot.

nice mellow song.

should probably pic up the volume.

100% improvement - tons going on here with some really nice professional sounding parts. Sound quality is really good with tons of depth and a good stereo image. A few sounds are too loud like the gun shot for ex. Still lacks standard dnb structure and drop needs work, and a bit long - but a huge step especially with mixing and sound quality - nice one. I'll give a more detailed review later - right now I'm marking tests like a madman so I can get out to Stu Magoo's for tomorrow - hopefully you and pete can make it - maybe fri afternoon?

A little bit boring to lissen to. Add some vocals or a melody. But I think that it sounds proffesional. I'd like to see more punch in the drums to. And like said befoure, the gunshoot is to strong in volume. So:
Nice producing and mixing with some few adjustments.
Add more elements to your mix. More melodic parts. I didn't like the end.

Nice backwards sounds. Its sounding quite ambient up to now, but I'm definitely ready for something to drop. so its droped at about 1.25 but now it still needs to go somewhere. Louder bass is needed but the drum sounds are pretty interesting, sound fresh and well balanced.

Just feel like it needs a bigger drop to really get it going. You could build upon the rising synth sound that you use every 4 bars in the middle, combine them with the ride/crash maybe.

Nice sweeping sounds at around 5.50. Maybe each of the sounds you use is a bit too short - the track kind of sounds like a collection of sounds, rather than a totally coherent piece.

like the intro. cool melody and sounds. goes on a bit long.

the congas after the drop sound good.

your main kick should be a bit harder.

snare is light.

drums are interesting but a bit too soft for my taste.

nice track. big improvment from the last.

Okay here's a more detailed review:
The backwards cymbal right at the beginning needs a bit of reverb or to be lowered but otherwise all the intro sounds blend together very well. The one note key hit at 1:40 to almost 3:00 is too abrupt and out of tune - needs to be changed. Hi hats are really well layered and have tons of depth - carry the song very well. The female vocal is really high quality but it hits a bit too often.
The drop out at 3:40 is genius and this is where the song really gets going (this could even work as a nice intro) - the build up to the drop at 4:45 is along the right lines but could go for another couple of bars while adding a nice building or sweeping sound. The songs rolls very nicely after his drop until the end - this should be the core of your track. Make the bass and snare a bit more destinct (and you may have a few to many bass drum hits in each bar) and the track should sound a lot beefier - the sounds are already very good quality and only need some subtle mixing and maybe panning. Again the interplay of the different bass sounds is key to this track as well - very nice. It still needs a melodic synth line to tie the track structure together (like stickbubbly's for ex.) Looking forward to your next track - you've got a steep learning curve and sound quality is very professional already.

Lovin this tune! The funky snappy organ hits are great! The YEAH voice sample is overdone, export the yeah sample into Kontact and add some filtering, Flang, chorus ect. Then loop the ass end of it
( in Kontact) and filter it out, you should be pleasantly surprised with this trick. It will certainly add some variation to the sample. CHEERS. MAGGOO!!

Cool housey intro turns to droning absract atmosphere. Track gets very busy once beat comes in. Lacks in the bass department. A little uneventful, but would be very moving with a little herbal assistance.

Hi,

I found your bass too monotonous. The voice & some sound in drum look like toys, don't like it.
Good stuff come at 4.00.

I think you have to work in first on your bass line.

Thanks everyone for the comments, they are greatly appreciated. Thanks as well for taking the time too not only listen to the track, but also to post a review, be it negative or positive, they are all taken in stride.

Unfotunatley I have not had any time in the past month or so to play with anything, although I hope to have some time in the June. I will take all the advice, and hopefully come up with something bigger and better in the next production...........
