I think there's one note wrong in the melody (it's in the second bar of the second part, which makes it the sixth bar I think)
but I don't know for sure, and I can't check it out right here, Tetris is not at hand for the moment Frown ...

SAME FOR ME !!! I love working with drumloops, so if you don't have respect for people who use 'm, you don't have respect for 95% of the producers in this world !!!!!

I dont think that 99% of the producer world uses drumloops. First of all, if you'd pay a little more attention to the tunes on this site, you'll notice that there are more people who make their own breaks rather then use drumloops.
Now imagine the producers who make a living out of producing. It would be a bit stupid if 99% of all those producers use loops. You'd get all the same drums then. Just put on your national mtv or whatever music channel, and you'll notice that most of the producers who made those tunes dont use loops.
But maybe you were only talking about drum n bass producers. Allright, well if you really think 99% uses loops, your so wrong! Apart from the amens and other breaks, most people do make their own breaks.

Oh and if you dont see the use of making beats yourself, I cant help you. May be you'll learn someday. Besides the fact that it's much more original, you also get a great feeling if you made a cool drumloop all by yourself. I guess you have never done that...

What I do is take my individual drum hits (kick, snare, hat whatever) or a sliced up break, load them up in Battery then sequence the individual hits in the matrix editor in logic.

Voila! your very own drumloop! Rinse

oh, and layering the individual hits is always a good idea too

you didnt make these loops. you just chopped them. So you are using drumloops (instead of the method crushfuck described).
About the song: 2nd part of the melody is wrong I believe, it should be one note higher. Correct me if Im wrong, but I thought it was that.
The bassline is may be an octave too low... could also be the soundquality.
Dont like the synth you used, and the melody sucks Tongue
Theres nothing more to say, except that the drums are ok. It's just that you need to chop them more, and make some yourself.
Song needs a lot of work Red Face
