aight...
intro sound is ok but nothing really special(maybe use more 'moving' fx). 'fine' beat that comes in at 0:20 is very splashy on the high tip.... i know this is a xperimentel track but this is too much on the high end (waaaay to much imo).
rhodes pad that comes in is verry nice (just looooove rhodes-type sounds/pads)....vocal snippets are classic and used well imo.
Bass: i get what yr trying to achieve but it lacks bottom and 'precense'in the mix. At 3:55 you switch that into more grime up-down pattern.... find that a strange move after 4:00 in the track..... maybe you should bring it in sooner (work tha two basses against each other) or make the track switch more when the bass comes in at that point (like a second part in the track with a build up before that....switch).

Overall: beats must be more banging imo. and the bass obviously(wich u stated yrself) needs work.
Like the overall feel of this track: rolling dubby wobble bussiness.... could turn out very nice imo.

like this tune a lot, can't agree to the comment above, I only wish the there were more drum variations here, and perhaps that the drums were a bit harder.

Correcction:I do agree that some of the basslines need more bottom, but all in all I like this tune.

Nice job!

cool track, In the intro it sounds like there is a clip on the snare. I'm not sure when it kicks in.there is no bass. and if there is no bass and no melodey, then it is just drums. the switch i think it sounds like someone mixing in a new track. I would maybe remix this track with the second half and blast the bass out. respect

a bit weak in it's elements except for the chords, which incidentally i really like. It reminds me of some stuff that Hidden Agenda did. Big Grin

But obviously the bass is boring, in sound and melody.
And then you change it and it didn't work.
The vibe left me confused.
There was a tune there but the 'why has it got be so damn tuff?' kind of worked because it wasn't that tuff but i don't know if you meant it that way. Also that sample could have had fx to make it more of an element in the track.

Not enuff to keep my interest.
Sorry man Frown

I do like the chords tho.

2/5

Don't make your drums too light, these drums you got just are too easy going. Give them more raw power by giving them more mid and low-end, to make them kick and punch. Even for a relaxing track some kind of drive in the drums is a huge plus!

Rhodes are nice, as is the bassline, which needs quite a boost by the way.

Distorted bassline coming in: again nice, but the sound has too much emphacis on the high frequencies. This bassline should kick and rip!

Nice ideas, but a bit empty and repetetive, and the sound is all high-end...

2.25/5 for the track
1.5/5 for the sound
