Please check out my new track 'Rydah In Black' and post your comments here!!!

i wanted this one to be a dancefloor track, tell me what you think, can it make it? the vox are from one of my friends' little rap group, and they are used with permission. this is practically the remix of their song, in fact-i made the melody of my song so it would fit around theirs. hope you like this one.

erm.. the intro isn't very good, isn't it?
pitch down the synth coming in @ 0:42 and add some subbasses to it,..
and who's rappin' there??? (@ 2:56)
--> isn't it a sample from another song?
This track still needs alot of work.

it's gonna need a LOT more bass if it's gonna work as a dark kinda tune, just go berserk with deep angry basslines and lots of distortion, that should do it Big Grin

those intro drums are weird..the sub intro was a little ehh...make darker intro...and for taht reece/lead drop it one or 2 octaves to get a more evil sound...vox are cool in my opinon...those hi synth strings are completely disharmonic, and do not work with the melody at all...there is no bass under the lead either and it gets a little annoying imo...you reallly need to get rid of that hi synth...the vocals sound cool in my opinon, the track jsut needs to be done better...

Its a decent start..youve only been making dnb for a short while...so here are my points...

Intro-make it much mroe interesting and lose those frist drums they dont fit the rest of the track

lead-add more variation and etc, also get some bass in there...also switch up the drums a bit make them more lively...good first efforts...

2/5 track
2/5 sounds

Bit weird to start a track with plain sub, no?

Drums kicking in: quite nice. Try boosting those ghosthits a bit.

Vocal sounds quite cool

Drop: leadsound is nice, melody is catchy, which is good. But the gap between the lead and the sub is too big, try getting it filled up by adding some bass to the leadsound.

Nice how you build up the amount of vocals, nicely done.

Quite a nice track, just work on the frequencyrange of the leadsound. Make it phatter and warmer!

3/5 for the track
2/5 for the sound
