Please check out my new track 'Space song' and post your comments here!!!
Ive been working on this for about 2 months. But the problem with this track was my lack of cpu...
Or I just used to many plugins :D
Anyway, I couldn't listen to the song unless I converted it to mp3. So I've converted this song a lot of times, and then changed something, and converted again... It was making me sick, and it made me work on it less then I wanted to.
The reason it's only 3:40 is that Im going to go to the electronic music school in hilversum, and they need some tracks to hear from me. This track was made for that purpose, but first, I wanna see what you guys think.

some nice ideas man. the sounds you've chosen remind me alot of some of aphex twins ambient tunes.
the first drop at around 50 seconds is a bit of dissapointment, needs mastering or something to bring the drums out imo - or maybe its just the shitty speakers im using at the moment. Quality melodies and harmonies things that often get rather overlooked n a lot of dnb,
I really like this. Needs a clearing up at points, and maybe a some of variation, but is nice happy stuff that with a bit of tweaking could even have dance floor potential. Nice one.

really like the atmo in the intro and the overall track
i was also a little disapointed on the beat is to soft and it should be more rollin'

yes...nice melody and atmo in the beginning...beat doesn't have enough prominence tho...nice fx to spice things up in the middle...boy do you know how to make atmosphere! this sounds like more of a chill track then something that can be played on the dancefloor for right now unless u make the beat a little more groovy, i think. but a very nice chill track it would be..the melody is one of the best i've heard from this site some on here don't seem to understand the concept..but anyway i'd agree with others, 4/5 overall you got yourself a nice one here...also i have that same problem with the cpu it really does suck to have to keep rendering to hear your own damn music without skips. peace.

thats cuz it's about groove, pop is more stressing melodies. messy drums with a melody, kinda overload. you gotta cut it some where. can have everything rocking, the mind can onyl follow one thing at a time.
catchy tune and anything else, there's a conflict. most songs with catchy tunes drop them out at the drums and bass part. this song does that at the 2.20 drop. not the first one, and it kinda seems a little clutterd, maybe.
it's a beautiful lead you got thoe kinda like a mellow rhode. i like. not sharp and just gives a nice liquid feel. cuz you got that slightly distorted rhythem synth at 1.50, to do that.
i really love the pad's in it also. they sweep around nicly. the kick seems a bit deep. Chocolate Truffles i don't know if the slightly distoretd at 1.50 is down sampled distorted, it seems.
oh and crank the vocals, there not in often, and get missed because there int he background so much. turn them up a bit, maybe the delay. last word or something. Dub or TAPE delay, as i think it's called. where it lopasses fades out, on every beat, would work in this song.

intro noise to midi and clean 4 me get more grimy man nice break sound like it could be a great track but it goes no where or just not the way it shouild second break to soon and just weak. ya sound arrangments r good but the sound aint get same samples. bass well weak. the breaks in this tune go on 4 to long it there should b more of the main 16. may b 2 many noises. drum track in kick needs to b more flowing, rollin and soulful.

enjoyed the melody and arrangement. Drums could be a bit more tight. Not the timing but the samples themselves. Snare sounds flat to me(nothing a little eq couldn't fix).
overall excellent start

I agree on the melody part
I really like it
it sets a nice atmosphere which is not heard in many of todays songs
although at 2:35 I think there are some notes a bit out of key (or maybe it is one of the tones out of the spectrum, but not the base note), sometimes I hear it, and sometimes I don't (very strange stuff)
I should have internet at my room soon, then I can listen better then on these crappy emac speakers at school

I would wait a bit with introducing the main melody, maybe even up to 2:00.

coolintro...really nice...i can see you used fruity..soem familiar pads and effects from sytrus i hear 
awesome vocals, cool drums...they could use abit of a boost...clean them up a bit...cool drop...drums are still lacking a bit...i was hoping this was gonna be longer..i was really feeling in..the mix sounded great except for the drums...other than that...this was some good stuff...good work...very ncie to chill andlisten too...very nice...

. I will put a better (better drums), extended version on this site when I have time to make that. Im kind of busy with school, and with getting on my next school (
) which will be about producing and composing music (not only DnB, but all types, mostly electronic I guess.) It's going to be the same study as border is currently doing. Im really looking forward to getting on the school, but first I have to do a few tests, and hopefully they will be very impressed and let me in 
. I just want to thank border for all he has done to help me prepare
. I have to make three songs for one of the tests, and this will be one of them. The styles of the three tracks have to be as varied as possible, so I cant make all DnB tracks
) . But that's ok, I do enjoy (making) other styles of music too. The second song is Indian Dream, but without the DnB-drums. It's more kind of jazzy drums now, and the last one will be a hiphop/rock track but Im still working on that.
btw: surora: I didnt use sytrus for those pads and effects. I used albino2 for the pad, and samples for the effects. But those effects could be from sytrus though, I just grab whatever sample I like
But you're right on the program, I did use FL Studio (5).

Maybe the beat is too quiet, but watching the atmo of the tune try boosting it a little bit. Wow, kool part at 02:00, I like it. I will definitely keep it for further reference, man! (the tune).... I like the voice. Your tunes are similar to s4ge's...
You have some kool "space sounds" but your atmo is not very spacey, if u know what I mean... try changing the name to correspond to something more closely.

Thanks, I'll make the drums a bit more rolling (change the ghost a bit) and boost them up. About the name of the track: this was the best what came up in about 5 seconds lol
. I'll think of a better one some more
. And Im definitely going to check out some of S4GE's tracks.

Yeah I work kind of slow...
But I try to do things right
And also: I havent worked on this every day for 2 months
But on the other hand, I just finished a cool hiphop track that I worked on for about 1 week, so I guess it is possible to work a little faster.
This song (space song) however has changed a lot from the beginning.
And I used too many plugins, so that I couldnt listen to the whole track, unless I rendered it. Which took about 5 minutes each time...

I just did the tests, and it was allright. I think it went pretty well. I walked into border after the tests, and we talked for a while. It was nice to meet him, and to speak to him
