Please check out my new track 'Formidable CompleX' and post your comments here!!!
Volia!
a long await track!
enjoy!
overdrived kick, layerd snares. a tiny bit of distortion.
303 with full saturation, and high res...
a monster synth for a lead/bass, the 303 is more the lead.
chopped up drums from this site, and a durm loop i made for the on going drums, i like making a loop than cuting it up, more choppy.
some filters, like FM radio VST, from voxx people... to add a bit of silence.
oh and pad with Trasher 2, with a nice lo-fi sound, and randomish... i like that.....
and Flute synth from ixox, the best synthedit instrument i have ever heard.
some orchastral samples granulized at the end .

Was that an insult? if so
a) its unjustified - the track is cool & b) we're supposed to be trying to help our fellow producers, not put them down...
I like the experimental feel to the track , its's refreshing to hear something new - love that nasty sound it really gets inside your brain, the different breaks are keeping things interesting.
I actually really really like this track this would mix very nicely into one of my dark hardcore/ gabber sets. the only thing that seems to be missing is some kind of sinister pad. that would definitely put it over the edge.
All the levels are great & its very nicely mixed - bass could be a bit fatter & nastier though I think.
NIce outro kinda keeps in with the same feel as the breaks.
Im a big fan of dark hardcore, industrial & gabber so this track appeals to me nicely - overall a wicked track!

Uff, whats that??????? I really dislike these drums. urrghhhh.
bassline is overdistorted. it hurtsmy ears....these silsnt breaks are cool beside these drums. the synths i also dislike. i ve seen u r a "master producer", so i think u know what u r doing. but i think, some tracks of a beginner i would like more, thats because i dont like tekkno, in sorry
i just can give u 2,3/5 because i really dont like that style........and that sounds.......and i think it doesnt sound nice.
dont take it personal, kid

Cool track, pretty original. I hear influences from hardcore and techno, but i would't really call this DnB though... The lead (at around 1:15) is indeed a little too loud.
There is one thing: you may be could add a really nasty, dirty DnB bass. That would make it more like DnB, and I think it would improve the track. But on the other hand, you might take away that expirimental atmosphere in the song... WEll you can always try
But this really isnt my style, sorry.
2/5 for expirimental stuff

Hey! Appreciating comments from
non - producing/listeners Dnb peepz?
(Think there are many on this forum
like them downloading tracks, but not
willing or afraid writing reviews!?)

NO NO NO! Don't take away that experimental
approach! Very, very 'filmish' to me, especially the
second/end part.. Listenig to this kinda tracks
makes da lazy brain working! Not that important
to me then, if it's a certain style (in terms of puttin
it away in 'narrow minded' places)
Just got to listen to it some times and then
there are the 'vast' grooves comin up (center part)
Much respect for u're creativity and personal touch!

i get tired from just using the presets and making the same sound other DnB songs have already. i can do it, maybe not as well though. probably why i don't do it.
not to put donw the dnb sounds, i love them, but it's not my style, and even if using a preset, that does the sound perfect, you still need to mould it to the song.

What the heck?! Back to the old days, when you didn't know what your 3xosc can do, but you still did some music right? Nice beat, but the kick is kinda lame, modify it. And it is too loud, devolume it a bit. You have nice beats, but the sounds...
You should have watched on clipping or sumthing... your tune sure sounds like Polar Freq's tunez... This is a kool experiment, but would have sounded better only if you watched your sound response with clipping...
Master the tune, and you have kool expo (riment).
Nice atmo at 02:45. Nice osunds at 03:02. I like them.
This is a real experiment! ALERT PEOPLE!!! Listen and LEARN!
Nice beats, you repeat them again...
Strange end man... hmmmph.. I like your idea, but WORK ON MASTERING DAMN IT.
3/5

what stopped me from enjoyin this tune is a lot of, dunno what to call this (i'm pretty new to the 'sound' thing ;] ) clipping? anyhow, it sounds like it was played too loud on shit speakers. can hear it only when particular sound come in (like in 1:11 of the song)
cheers!

yea it is not a great sounding distortion and it very well may be clipping. it's suppose to sound like shite though. it wasn't done accidently. on the master i put a bit of a overdrive distortion Ry's Analog Distortion from Buzz Machines.
