Why not try to make your own sounds with it . It's capable of much more than the preset sounds and all the sounds you make yourself will fit with your music .
Learn about how synths work , know what a VCA does or what an Envelope generator does ect... I know it looks very complex in the beginning but its not rocket science , he if I can do it everybody can .
So start puching buttons and turning knobs .
Here's a link to the microkorg's info site clik on the Tech Tips .http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?A_PROD_NO=microKORG
Greetings Dirk .

an envelope generator, when attatched to a voltage controlled amplifier, shapes the volume of the signal coming through. commonly in subtractive synthesis there are two sets of envelope generators (and vca's to go with them) one for the filter (the signal passed through is from the cut off switch on the synth.) and one for the Amp (just put the signal from the filter to the vca.) If you do not understand how to use an envelope all i can say is ... DUMBASS!!!

if all you have to say is dumbass, than what's the saying.
if you have nothing nice to say, than you don't have anything to say.
i think that works well for you.
