Does any one know how I can put my mixes onto CD, everytime I write one to my hard drive they end up being 500 odd megs. I am a new starter so this may be pretty obvious to the hardened amongst you!

That's normal if you are writing a wav file of nearly 60 minutes. Just drag the file in your burning software and go.

Why don't you try saving your mixes in 320kbps mp3 version right away? I mean, there is no great difference between a simple wav file and a mp3 file on a great bit-rate
