What I sometimes do: open the music in a wave editor and loop a note and search for it on the keyboard, then select the next note and loop it, look it up...

Ok, bear with me here....this is gonna be tough....I listened to the tetris melody....and I think I got it figured out.
1st measure:
C5 1/8 note, C6 1/8 note, G5 1/8 note, E5 1/8 note, C6 1/16 note, G5 1/16 note, 1/8 rest, E5 1/8 note, 1/8 rest.
2nd measure:
C#5 1/8 note, C#6 1/8 note, G#5 1/8 note, F5 1/8 note, C#6 1/16 note, G#5 1/16 note, 1/8 rest, F5 1/8 note, 1/8 rest.
3rd measure:
Repeat 1st measure.
4th measure:
D#5 1/16 note, E5 1/16 note, F5 1/16 note, 1/16 rest, F#5 1/16 note, G5 1/16 note, G#5 1/16 note, 1/16 rest, G#5 1/16 note, A5 1/16 note, A#5 1/16 note, 1/16 rest, C6 1/8 note, 1/8 rest.
So yeah....that's the melody for tetris. 
I almost forgot!!! You want the so called "bass" for it too?
1st measure:
C4 1/8 note, 1/4 rest, E4 1/8 note, C4 1/8 note, 1/4 rest, F#4 1/8 note.
2nd measure:
C#4 1/8 note, quarter rest, F#4 1/8 note, C#4 1/8 note, 1/4 rest, E4 1/8 note.

anyways the one tetris song that i think you want is actualy the song that i first heard in the tetris for gameboy. (no game bopy color even, just the origonal game boy)
anyways that melody was actualy the "kankan"
or maybe spelled "cancan".
and that is a russian song, un-copyrightable due to it's age, there for you could sell that one.
now look up kankan or cancan at some sort of midi place if you can....

The original song was called Korobeiniki a group called ozma made a punkcover of it. (I do know that the link I posted doesn't sound a lot like the gameboy version)
