ez people,ive just downloaded 1.2gb file of new refills for reason but its an iso file and i cant open it? can anyone pls tell me how to do this and what iso is thanks in advance Bigup ps the file just brings up easy cd creator...

Iso is a data-compressing standard, just like .rar, .zip,...
In order to open .iso-files, you need to have some conversion software, although most cd-burning applications/software is .iso-compatible.
Plextools, Nero,... should do the trick, but there are far more.
I'm sure you can find & download a proggy for this bizniz...

No, iso is a standard for copying CD/DVD images. There is NO compression involved, so the ISO file takes just as much space as the original CD/DVD did.
To use the files burn them on a CD/DVD with the right software OR you can open the file with a tool like IsoBuster OR you can mount the image as a virtual CD with tools like Alcohol 120%

thanks surya,i downloaded iso buster but kinda couldnt get my head round it? so i think im gonna come back to this at a later date!! in the meantime is there a way that i can somehow compress 1.2gb down to approx 700mb so i can burn it on cd rom??thanx Bigup

Indeed, I would advise mounting the iso as a virtual drive using Alcohol
