I think fruity loops is perfect for quickly making good drum loops or bass loops. You can then export them as wav files and import them in a software / hardware sampler. Making entire songs with it is a bit too limiting for my tastes.

i use fruity, link it whit sound forge 6.
It isn't limited at all, once you are using vst plugins, midi, fx, ... fruity rocks and is complicated as hell

i'm using Logic Audio platinum atm.
but that's only when i'm with my dad, which isn't really a lot ...unfortunately
so i'm in search for some software, and surya, that buzz thing, seems cool, and free !
so i can go on producing when @ home ...

working with for about 1.5 years with it, still discovering new things
fruity rules, and isn't that complicated imo!
I only think the playlist section as a bit limited,

Wazzup , people
kind a new in this , i 've been making tracks 4 about 2 years now , I just recently discovered there's a site with like-minded people who create their own music too...
Fruity is pretty good sequencer ( specially if u download the xtra plugin-packs ...
)
But after that you'd better export ur tracks to some heavier software , like Sonar XL 2 of Cake Walk Pro Audio 9 ( this is what I use ).
Peace, to Gripz & Noztrakz , keep up the good work!
I'll be upping some of my tracks , laterz...
ciao

imo fruityloops is a beginner program, the sound quality ain't all that and the possibilities aren't that fabulous. I'd say make your loops in reason2, maybe even your entire song or else rewire it to or remix them in Cubase/Logic/ProAudio or whadevva. Neways it just doesn't satisfy my needs.

ye gotta get to know it deeply before you get something good out of it, I make evrything in fruity... And i think my things start to sound quite well
well for fruity, it's not all in the name, give it a better name and it will be appreciated much better, i guess...
