kind of ray keith bass......samples are cool.....i like the kind of old skool hip hop synth which comes in..the bass which comes in later on is to loud.....a bit to distorted.......ill rate it when its finished....sounding good but the beats are a bit predictable.

Jungle loops are great but the problem with it is that if not good eq'ed they loose their credibility ImHo. that 80's style synth man works nice with george clinton but not in this song. some basses are wicked but i think u use too much effects it fades the rest no shit!! snare and kick must be louder layer some of both. i hear some nice ideas but this is just a shade of what it has to be. still much much work left. eq recomended with some basses. the red freqs arent save!!!!!!
2/5
cheers

Nice start, but not feeling that happy bluezy stuff...
Hmmm, volume of the snare varies sometimes, did you layer it and leave out one snare sometimes?
Some cool vocals, but mostly a bit too loud.
Second, darker, part is much better
Not really feeling your choice of vocals though, they sound too housey...
Nice atmo you got going on, but it makes the track very noisy...
Last bassline is nice too, but it seems it puches the drums away a bit with compression or something
Nice idears, but I would ditch the first, happy sounding, part, it doesn't seem to fit with the rest.
2/5 for the track
2.25/5 for the sound

i like the song. the samples are kinda house, which are cool.
the atmo effects are pretty good, add some stero images to the track. the drums could be layerd or eq'd.
nice variations in the drums. it's like old skool. just need thickness in the drums, with layering.

nice intro, the first bass line is good but kind of week.
Drum need more layer in the first part and a good kick, the second part of the tune is way better, maybe try to develop it a bit sooner.... cause with the 3rd drop, u got killa sound m8! Need xtra attention but...
so far

ahh i can see what you're getting at, the mix is a little off.. maybe u just need to eq ur layers a bit.
i don't like the retrigg in the reece at 1:50 .. it'd probably sound better if you put an lfo on the detune or something if u can... and it scared the shit outta me at 2:43 when it goes quiet for one second and a vocal begins. i'd use more of that. i like it
try experimenting with the levels of your layers a bit more... because the ideas are good and they can mix together nicely, just not mixed correctly yet.
nice change at 4:09 and you could do more with the phaser(?) at 4:15 earlier in the track, it sounded sweet
excellent at the end and it loops out well
4.2/5 for effort
3.5/5 for sound
