I did a phonecall and know some more details now 
Breakz and appletree are not going to merge, what I expect is that Antik and Oxi will redesign appletree and put it back up on their own server.

Ok this is what I heard yesterday @Profest(Hasselt) and Interactive & MC 2SHY (Elewijt)
Breakz is gonna be taken off in some time (to be re-disigned and with new rules to get rid of the negative atmosphere lately) by it's owner (he told me).
Aplletree "belongs" to Oxi, Lowdown and a third person from now on and is gonna be re-structured.
Nothing's said about a collab and I know the Breakzboss wants to keep Breakz D'n'B-only....
(sorry for not mentioning real names) Wanna stay objective and honest. Yesterday those people told me personally so keep it real and true)
