I don't really have a "favorite artist", but Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Eat Static, Plaid, Plastikman, The black dog, ... all are candidates, they just do their thing - and I like it

There's so many good artists but aphex twin has to be near the top of the list. Im also into dissecting table - crazy japanese noise with screaming & mad dark melodic bits.
Worth checking out - only for the headstrong though.....

KMFDM <---- open up industrial
NIN <--- greatest album ever, CLOSER, it's an entire timless masterpiece.
RATM <--- one of the last few major politcal rock bands to play at awoodstock, adn the most influencial
slipknot(cough)- there latest one was better, vermlion pt.2 a nice slow song that brough out deep feelings after breaking up with goth chick.
bach.....- just like the orchastral form.
ludwig von bethovan -just like the insanity, he's harder than most rock bands for insanity
kraftwerk- god, who can't love him.
felix da house cat - nothing is better than felix
x-ecutioners - hip hop so hard it breaks your face off? maybe not.
linkin park - if you slo down there songs by 10% they sound like a normal rock band with the lead singers voice chester sounding like he's hit puberty. i like the techno elemnts in it mostly.
jay-z - he kicks ass, and mixed with linkin park you got phat beats with a good rapper.
NWA - it's nwa
run dmc - tricky
beastie boys - EVERYTHING from girls to check it out
eminem - marshal mathers LP is the only real good cd.
marlyin manson - good dark rock, and now with KMFDM basses they had a great industrial edge. too bad he's like retired.
prodgey - smack ma btich up when my baby's got a temper.
aphex twin - come to daddy
skinny puppy - pro test and oh ya, the god fathers of industrial IMO
herbie handcock - jazz sooo smoooooooth
phatboyslim - techno sooo smooooooth
666 <-------------one of the best in house
benny besilli - same sound for all his songs, but it's a gooood sound.

KOJI KONDO
You've all heard his stuff. He did the mario theme, the zelda theme, all the music for the zelda games (with the exception of #2)
I think one of his best songs is the Gerudo Valley theme, I play that on the acoustics at school whenever I have the chance.
