Please check out my new track 'Bitcrushed Headbanger [an oldie]' and post your comments here!!!
This one is from waaaay back - not at all polished, but I stumbled across it and thought it might be a candidate for a reworking. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any reviews.

Wicked, very James/Paradinas.
Drum programming has plenty of variation, my kind of style.
Logic Audio Bitcrusher? If so, one of my favs.
Some of the filtering on the kick makes it sound like there's a bum note or two, but it doesn't detract from the feel of the tune.
Worth mastering I think, lots of potential.

don't need to bitcrush it all. the kick is good. pick either the snare or hihats to be clean though.
god that is a beautiful bitcrush on the kick.
ya get a clean snare. something fat. the hihats sound amazing fast.
the bit crushed snare sounds like a fart.
i like the song generally though.

haha, this track is sweet. The vocals just own. I really like how the hihats give a sense of a faster tempo after the drop. To my ears none of the levels on the kick sound off or anything but a harder snare would work out better. Gotta love the filtered out ending too. Reminds me of David Bowie and Trent Reznor's "I'm afraid of americans" or something.
Gotta say though, my favourite is your more recent stuff.
I remember this one from a cd you gave me or corey like a year or two ago. There was another song off that cd that we just fucking loved but i cant remember what it was called. It probably would've been one of the first three songs on the cd. I remember the bassline but i cant really explain what it sounded like...song might've also had like a robo voice in it too. The sound of that song was moreso like the stuff you do today so if you find that track definately post it up.

This ones like 4 years old - when I first started making tracks on my own with vst's and a pc rather than hardware and the mac.

ha-ha electro feeling
nice, i like the vocal sample in the begininng, I don't think this one fit into the drum&bass genre honestly, it's more like electro-breakbeat stuff, it's quite interesting tho I just miss some decent bassline, sound is good but song is not my cup of tea it all stands on one drum pattern and it's not enough for me, sorry
2/5
btw, if you will work on this one it could be very decent tune, I don't know if you heard Elektra by Future prophecies, but that track rules, and it has similar elements to this one, If you will work on this I wish you luck and lot of good ideas !

Has a heavy sound to it!
Drop is cool, but the snare needs work. Layer it with a more snappy one and maybe a metalic one too.
Cool track, only the snare needs some spicing up
2.5/5 for the track
2.5/5 for the sound

i liked the intro alot. reminded me of a mr oizo beat, but after it drop it got too experimental and robotic for me.
some of those backround noises are insane.
i would just make a hole song out of that deadly intro.
cheers
