I started listenin' my brothers music when i was 10y. old or something - like Tom Petty and The Doors- my first ever CD i got was Storm Front, Billy Joell
Second one i guess was Nirvana's Nevermind

Was the radio show 'De dans top 20' on SIS (now Top Radio) in Ghent. Was quite underground back then ('91). Taped a lot of it!

Tapes with the first house anthems back in 1991, brought by my elder brother from Rotterdam. From my other brother, I taped Genesis - Invisible Touch (still one of the best albums ever made).
First cd probably was, er, cheesy house

Next tape I bought was "Appetite for destruction" by GnR. Now that's a classic for ya, probably the best hard rock album to be released in the eighties!
After that it was taping cassettes from radio and a little later I started buying CD's. Don't know which was the first though...
