relising that FL5 has sounfont, that works for me, i learn that it's a low memory sampler. i have founds somef ree sound banks, and am wondering why i have never heard people talk about soundfont before?
does anyone even know about it?

soundfonts were created by creative labs (the company that makes all the crappy sound cards) but that is the best invention they ever came out with but there are many other sample formats that are multi-layered like kontakt, battery, and reason (only to name a few)

RGCAudio offers a free soundfont player called: sfz or you can get there one that costs money called: sfz+ http://www.rgcaudio.com/sfz%2B.htm
