but if media player doesn't conver it for you, which i am sure it can do, cuz it ripps cd's to wma, than you can maybe find something at www.download.com

Why do you need a WMA so badly? WMA's suck because they're only limited to a couple of programs that will read them. Go universal man......go mp3!!

That program seems to be shareware.
The best place to look for encoding info is on HydrogenAudio.
I did a search and some people there recommend dBpowerAMP for converting from mp3 to WMA.

Yeah it sucks that media player can only rip to wma from cd's, not convert from wma or wav. What I usually do is burn it to a cd-RW, and then rip it with media player. Works fine, but takes some time.

mp3machine.com has a lot of shareware converter programs across all platforms i got my converter there which is just a lame encoder made up so i dont have to do the command prompt stuff ( cause i dont know about that shit....
