A time ago we were just planning to give Kelderkracht a remaster but it turned out to this... I think Kelderkracht was the first track we posted here so it's a bit a B/A comparison

Wicked production on this one, really has got a professional sound to it!
The buildup using the bass and high synth work really well, definitley the type of drum n bass i would say is my preference
In fact, I started one at the weekend actually but I cant put it up til i have 5 reviews, which this is my first and I am honoured to review it as it rocks!
Very effective variation after the break, works really well im not sure about the Pads in the background tho, kinda contradicts itself as it is a dark evil track and i wouldnt have put them in but apart from that its spot on , good work!

Really nice dark track, putting me right off putting any of my own stuff up here for another few years unfortunately
Personally I like and would keep the pad sounds criticised b4 as some useful contrast that bring out the flavour even more, otherwise the song wouldn't be able to last the course.
They said you cant just say positives if you want to get producership, so maybe it takes a little to long to get going and a bit too jerky for me.
Sorry if this is a bit inept, like the guy before, this is the first track I've rated but it is dead good.

Cool man,
Nice, dark, evocative and atmospheric.
First of all it sounds like you're listening to a headphones mix then it blasts into the full ensemble. Shame can't listen to it on a beefy system with low-down bass.
Not completely sure about the pads/synth sounds, maybe they could be more industrial sounding (overdrive or bit-crushing) but thats just my personal taste.
Wicked nontheless,
Keep it up!

Pretty cool track. Contrary to larrysmith though, i think its lacking a bit of atmosphere. Also it may be just me but i feel that the drop should be more distinctive. Great sound nonetheless.

I think I have one of your dj mixes I downloaded off the internet - is that possible - very cool nonetheless. Very nice intro, huge synth sound, great alternating kits, powerful hits indeed. The bass drum seems to be conflicting a bit with your bass sound, sounds a bit muddy. The hi string pluck sound stands out a bit much on my Krk's. Lots of great stuff in the first 2:30, but then seem to repeat and/or meander towards the end - oh wait, until 4:23 - nice redrop - maybe replace the pluck with some other element at that point. And I agree with Vice that it could use more atmos. Great cymbal and hat work throughout - makes this one of the more proffessional sounding tracks on here. 4/5.

nice...i really like the intro...my kind of feel for sure...nice drums...good selection of loops...dont really like the over all feel behind it...although its very jumpy and could deffinitely be something cool at a party...but the intro pad doesnt fit the song imo...i was expecting something a lot softer actually...dont like some of the bass samples, but thats just personal taste, theyre not bad...
3/5 over all

Intro: quite similar to Kelderkracht at first
Same hoover coming in, but other drumteasers. Give them a programmed delay (not using a delay unit), would be nice.
Drums sounds a bit lowfi, but punchy. Could be the filtering.
Beating bassline is very powerfull, maybe a bit too powerfull. Give it a bit less bass. Not much.
Drop: Nice, but drums do sound a bit lowfi. Try clearing them up with some crisper hats and rides, and especially give the snare more hi-end.
Switches with the tramen are nice. But the contrast between the two drumkists is quite big. Give the tramen a bit more punch.
About the plucked sound: put it more in the background, with a fair amount of reverb? Would work nicely imo.
About the beating bass: at the end of the sample, fade it out, it has and ugly tick there.
Strings are a nice addition. Try making them sounds a bit fuller later on. Having them sound so thin is nice to start with though. Give it a bit more reverb too.
Overall, the drums should sound clearer and the bass should be less overpowering. If you come over friday, you can have a check on my system
Having a breakdown it the middel using that string would be nice, it would give the track more depth imo.
Again, I'm jelous of your attention to detail guys, that's something you are far better at than me. And although this is a quite good track, it could be better. Maybe I'll do a remix one day
3.25/5 for the track
2.25/5 for the sound
