eur......don't see the connection with the tsunami, specialy with those wind sound in the intro......
The drum are too lound if u compare with the bass lines, too present.... I like the bass line by the way, nive variation to it, maybe u could add some more sound to make it deeper. Not much variation in the drum unfortunately
Really good building up but the break at 2.15 is too much, silent should not be here....

Well there doesnt have to be death & screaming just because it was a tsunami....its my tribute song to all those that lost there lives, the bassline is raw emotion, pure destructive power........just like the tsunami...

add a bit of actual distortion. grittier sound than a saturation.

I understand where your coming from, but this song isn't comparing anything, its my mark of respect to those who lost their lives in asia.

It's a good thought, but on the other hand, I agree with Rude.
Okay, about the song.
Intro is nice and calm, till the bassline drops (with the wind). I guess that's the part where the tsunami got on land.
Drums drop in nicely. Your snare could be a little louder, and the ghost snares a bit softer. But it's cool the way it is now, too. The drums remind me of The Prodigy. May be it's the melody of the bassline too.
Nice break. When the bassline stops, and there is a complete silence for about 2 seconds, it sounds a bit too empty. I personally, would add some delay at that point (may be temporarily). Or maybe just play the first part of the main bassline (like the first 3 notes or so) and begin really quiet, and built it up to a higher volume.
Good song, and this being a tribute, its good.
3.5/5

Hehe great excuse to have people play your tracks j/k
There's not so much wrong with the track but the drums just totally ruin it. The bassline would be good for a jumpy track.
Omg that snare is just totally wrong. Really get that out. I think that snare has some low-end, if I can hear right. Get it out man!
As I said the track itself is not so much wrong with.

Like the atmos in the intro, very cool/dry synth sound. Big crunchy sound before the first drop - nice. Mid range synth sounds good - could be doubled up with chorus or flange and delayed a touch. The drums are very cool - many different textures in this one loop, which is what makes it cool but it could use a touch of compression on the whole track and a bit of reverb to unify the sound. More bass required. I think your bass drum is interfering with your sub, try using a muliband compressor to limit the frequency range of these two elements so they don't over lap. Like the hi hats at the second drop, a bit to much of a pause, but nice pitch down. Here you can really hear the bass drum providing all the bass drive when it should be the bass line. The bass drum should just be giving it the low mid attack to the bassline envelope. Work on that and this will be a very solid track. 3.5/5 for now.

Oh, and I feel the Tsunami tribute. I spent a year travelling in that area and spent months in the north west of Sumatra so seeing it wiped out with many of the people I met there is very sad. Also, my girlfriend is from Sweden and there are still people from her town missing. She's glued to the internet news over here in Canada. I was thinking of doing a tribute track myself, but I figured feelings about this sort of thing are personal and other people aren't going to appriciate it in a drumnbass context.

I really like the intro, although a little long. Once the track drops in, it's got nice beat to it although the bass drum seems to want to come out, but is a little muffeled. I like the breakdown at 2:30, although I don't really like the hmm... pause in the song at some places. Nice tune overall.
Regarding the tribute thing, I'm sure that you had good intentions.

Intro is quite nice
Filtered hoover coming in. Good.
Drop: sub is quite overpowering, turn it down man!
Drums: sound quite lowfi. Try another snare. one with more punch and snap. Layer. Give them more power!
The filtered hoover gets a bit boring after a while. Also, having it sound thin is nice for the buildup, but after the drop, a fuller sound would be nice.
2/5 for the track
1.5/5 for the sound
No offence, but I don't see what benefit the people there have of you naming your latest tune Tsunami and us playing it in our living room...
