as peet said, it's probably I-K T-Rack. I use the maelstom as well but not for my basses lines, can't get it right for the moment

ik multimedia t-racks. yes, i use it as a vst, but i was asking if there was a stand-alone or something to use vst.
i assume it's just over the entire track then.

yeh doh you think i would rewire reason to cubase to just let all the tracks get mastered by the t-racks vst if i can do the same by just doing it seperately afterwards on the standalone.

so yes. standalone. i have the vst too for when im in cubase but i hate the vst cause it doesnt work well with the master volume of the mixer. you always end up with low mixes how much you limit them any way. i use the limiter of t-racks for seperate tracks tho, it works great. i don't understnad the rest of the compressor or limiters so. Smile

I use fruityloops 3.56
it's one of the few that works on my 200mHz pc.
I use samples from dub reggae tracks, who come from vinyl or cd.
Also my computer is attached at a
Yamaha A-550 amp and Bns speaker (think around 125w)

why not have a pair of small but accurate speakers?

unless you paln to host your own music tour?

or just annoy other commuters.

like this car, that has a lot of Bass also.

Update:

Fruity Loops Studio 5
Reason 2.5
Sound Forge 7.0
T-Racks (Standalone version)
Shitload of VST's and VSTi's (I only use a couple of them though)

That's the list of software I mainly use for production, I just started using FL 5, and you guys will be hearing my first track from it pretty soon. It's the Infinity Project track I'm working on.

The centre of my studio is a Mac Dual Gig G4
running Logic 6.3.1 on OSX 10.2.8
V V old Kawai Synth as midi controller
Various AU's and VST inc.
T-Racks
Reaktor (Drool Dance )
Albino
CronoX
OHM Boyz
Phatmatic Pro
too many too list

I also use Peak 4 and Spark XL for finishing...
(I won't say mastering as my studio is far from the acoustically sound environment that it should be done in)

I have Eltax Monitor III's as my main monitors...
(tho not the best I know them well)
JPWs, large Floor Standing Speakers with 15" woofers,
Altec Lansing PC monitors with Sub, and Sennheiser HD25 phones all to check mixes on.

I sample using Technics 1210's (never use sample CDs),
pretty much only vinyl. I have a large Jazz, Funk, Techno, Dub collection that I would probably stop producing if I didn't have that source of sounds. Pleased

Problem is there is always something else to buy Roll Eyes

i run Orion Platinum, a microkorg, rhino2, vaz 2010, junglist, synth1 and a bit of albino sometimes, mainly Orions internal effects, except Voxengo gliss eq and psp stereo pack, and a few other odd bits n pieces. sometimes i run reason, but generally not, and i've got some edirol ma10-a's, an m-audio 24/96, beyerdyn headphones, and a kawai k1 and roland d-110 that i don't really use at the moment.

next bits a mixer....
