No......they're the HF125's......nothing special......in fact they're really not that good at all.
My brother had a pair of those pioneer HDJ1000's.....you know.......the ones that cost $160......yeah......he was doin a party up in the city.....and some drunk jackass DJ got pissed off at one of his mixes, dropped them on the floor......and some other drunk ass moron stepped on them......those headphones were killer man!!

yeah......those headphones are kind of heavy on the low end though........i've gotten used to it now.....but i used to turn the high end way up so it would sound good in the headphones......but on speakers it'd sound like someone was murdering the tweeters

no, i don't have sample cd's.. I mostly get my samples from the net or I sample sounds myself from existing tunes (which are very rarely dnb tunes)
I love working with samples and everything that's involved with that

Reason 2.5 for sequencing and instruments
Recycle for breaks sampling (altho I only use it if I've found some cool break sample somewhere thats not in .rex)
Audacity for audio editing
T-Racks for mastering
That's it man.
I've got Cubase but I haven't been able to make it part of my musical production approach style mood mindset.

how do you like the sound of reason, when it's render'd, i hear it sounds a bit poor. your tracks sound good.

that reason sounds bad is total bullshit and it has more to do wth silly kids who don't take the time to get the interface work with them. i mean. it has a great synthesizer, a great distortion device, only things that suck a bit are the phaser and chorusser but you can get around that. i mean having a vst with 300 great presets in cubase doesnt mean cubase sound great. it means the presets rock.
and ofcourse you have to master the stuff that comes out of reason afterwards, but it's not gonna save your track if it's bad any way.
reason rocks man. don't listen to the losers.

I'm only using reason at the time and i wonder with what kind of program you can master it? ableton? track? And you right, i think that the substractor synth is pretty good once u get around it ( been using reason for a year or so, took about 6 month to get some sound right...) I might have a look at buzz, sound good

seriously forget the substractor
it sucks ass
i never understood wtf was going on
then i tried the SAME stuff i used to do on the substractor and i did it in the malstrom and it rocked 10x more
the lfo section is so much easier and logical
malstrom is the way man for real
master your tracks with I.K. T-Racks
