I just got Gmail and as i read on the agreements and stuff, in short: they have the ability to check your mail for keywords and then send u adz and commericalz according to what u write..right??
but the 1 gig sound increddible...very.very nice..
whats your knowledge n' opinions on this theme

I get 250 with hotmail........and after 5 years with that account......I've only used 1% of my total space.......1 gig sounds kinda ridiculous

i guess it would come in handy if you wanted to send a really big attachment or something........then it would come in really handy......i can only attach files up to 10 megs with hotmail.........g-mail allows something like 100 megs or bigger.

can use the gmail at school for sending entire webpages and files in it, great for using as a place to keep backups. but gmail was around before hotmail gave 125mb. before it was 5.
i was using gmail before then, that and hotmail pisses me off with the server is busy message i kept getting.

i've got 2 gmail accounts - and one hotmail, I like the GMail more, not cause of the more space, but because of the nice, clean and fast interface. Don't use it that much though... Have my own domain for mail...

If anyone needs an invitation - still have 4 left...
