Please check out my new track 'Indian Dream' and post your comments here!!!
This song took me very long to make. I think it was worth it, but tell me what you think.
If you are wondering why I didnt release any tracks lately: I ve been busy doing some house (the music genre ;) )projects and Im just trying out new styles.
oh btw: Im actually working on something really dark (DnB), for a change.

not my style of music, that's for sure, i hate the pad sound, with a passion. i tihnk it sounds cheesy, no matter how it's used. it should have died in the 70's.
the tab is cool, are cool, and it's a solid song. good after party music. the drum's got some nice variation. i enjoyed thoes, if nothing else. the horn is kinda choppy at times, even though it flows nicly at others
you do a fade ending, why?
well i'd love to hear your darkstuff

Very smooth, unique intro (a Windham hill sample?) bongos could be lowered and reverbed a bit more. With such a nice intro, I think you need slightly less abrasive drums (snare mainly). Always like hearing something new and different. Some aren't going to like this, and I'm on the verge of thicking this is just too soft (I hope that's not Kenny G of the saprano sax!). Very nice pitch down roll at 4:43!! This tune could have its place coming down in the morning at an all nighter. P.S. that pad is pure 80's not 70's

I tried to make the end without a fade, but I just couldnt get it to sound the way I wanted to.
But I like the fade now how it is.
But may be you are right, may be I should try again, and make the ending without a fade.
thnx for comments everyone

hi,
very nice quality of the sounds and the atmospgere is very cool.
the bongo's are a litlle to loud for me but it isn't bad
the beat drops is smooth.
not mutch variation in this one.
the horn or trompet (don't know) made the track
it brings a very nice sound in it
like the things you do with youre beat
good track
4 stars and you diserve them

Waoow, intro is really sweet, well made, pad is a bit girlie but that what u wanted otherwise you wouldn't have called your track this way... It's kind of ambient like old jungle style back in the 90's. The drum is good but need a boost or variation.
That's a tune to chill with the honey once you back from a good but tiring dnb night.
Well done m8

This tune is really refreshing. Horns are awesome but they sound a little strange right when they first drop in. Really feelin this.
Bongos + drums are nice but a little dry.
Wished the song would have been about the bassline at some point. Definitely not for the dancefloor ... but wicked + uplifting none the less.
Reminds me of alot of non D+B music that I listen 2. You've inspired the shit out of me 2 werk on some music. Definitely a 10/10 in the originality + soul department. As for the bass department ... if you could make the bassline as big + meaningful as the other elements ... damn this would be a fine piece of Drum + Bass. The fade didn't bother me so much considering the mood + feel of the tune. Respect!!!!

Strange intro but it gets you in the atmosphere.
Bongo's nicely done.
Snare sounds like from a distance.
Nice beats lot's of variation.
Nice tune on the trumpet.
Track need more variation.
Nice production.

Lets see this wil be my first post.
LIght atmospheric stuff is ok but not in a tune that could readily mixed with other dnb. Voices anre really cool with the panning. Over all a good experimental track. But lacks alot of full dnb elements, especially a bassline. I agree with the previous post of the snare being too far away. It needs to be turned up and eqed a little different to make it sound fat.
Dont get me wrong tho its got a great Dj DB vibe.

Yeah, that was exactly the part I was worrying about.
I really had some difficulties making the bassline right, and I still feel that it isn't the way I'd love it, but im definitely going to work on it. (and also on some parts of the trumpet, the drop is indeed a bit weird)
As for this track not being a dnb song: I started this project to make a DnB song, but I think I've gone to a more loungy/ambient side
When I start making a track, I have an idea in my head of how it will sound when it's done, but it always sounds completely diffirent
Thanks for commenting all!

Intro: quite good, but too cheesy for my taste man. Sounds a bit like a soundtrack for some cheap TV series or something.
Hmmm, goes on like this
Drums are quite nice, but a bit too distant, and some crisp rides would be welcome.
About the bassline: too 'nice'. Throw in a slightly distorted one, to spice things up.
So, not bad, I guess, but way too cheesy!
2.25/5 for the track
