Hah, nice start, though i was expecting the guitar/piano/whatever that is to have a melody Big Grin Beats come in nicely, though that melody is getting pretty annoying i think.. :S

HMmmmm... The track didn't have any evolving idea, there was only the start, then the main part with a few drops and that's the whole song.. Didn't really like this track, though the mastering was pretty good.

I would suggest you to add a bit of variation to this track, and add a bit more variation to that piano melody too Big Grin Mastering was cool

GJ! Bigup

A little bit disappointed. When i read that this was a sort of expirimental track, i thought you would expiriment a bit with drums and other stuff.
the background bells are quite nice, but that's just one thing. Some other okay stuff as well, but work it out as a song.

No offense, but I assume you are still using the same beats (I mean how it's made, not the samples you used). I always hear the same beats and stuff. Well it's not bad, but may be it's a good idea to do something completely diffirent, like non-2-step.
I am planning on making some breakbeats anyway, so if you want, I can send you the .flp's of them.
But it's always more fun when you discover things by yourself Smile

Your drums are nice and crisp. Your melody is way to frequent, it needs to change up a bit maybe slice it up a bit. plus wheres the bass line?

does fruity have a sound quality problem it seems tob e just dawning on me, using absynth2.

but anyways, the tracks a bit repative, but fuck that, that's music.

nothing really fat in this, very acuostic sounding though, which is a nice change.
since it's just an evloving beat there's nothing that comes out otehr then basicly one verse that slowly fades in. it's kinda fustrating, but it's a good practice song, try to apply whatever you got from this to a more devlopted song.
learn how much you can add to a part of a song to make it sound full, then use that to make a regular song evolve, using verses and chorus. you got the beats and everything down, and even a bit of the middle 8th.
good mixing goan on in there too. but nothing abrasive in it to make it stick out in my mind.

what is the composition of a dnb song?

Classy intro Cool .Nice rolling beat falling in.
Bells are nice but they get boring after a while, godd variation on 1min04 though. Not very danceable, chill song.
Overall I think the track needs more variation.
Not you're best work.

3/5

Drums are quite nice, but could use a boost
Sub is nice n warm, good enough for an intro.
Melodies are nice, but I'm not too sure about all the sounds. The bells are nice though.

It's going on for almost 2 minutes now, and it's starting to get a bit repetetive, desperatly in need of some new elements (nice bassline or something?) coz it's a bit empty

2/5 for the track
