well I have DC offset covered......but that indeed will remove it for you....in real-time too!! Analogx has always had quality free stuff.....I downloaded their whole catalog back when they first came out like 8 years ago. Do you have an audio editor? It is most likely that your audio editor has a function to fix the DC offset of a signal.

Say u have a centered snare. When it attacks, the right speaker gets signal of -3 dB (which is 3 decibels to the upper limit) and the left gets -5 dB... which means that the right speaker gets more signal... and you hear it more on thy right ear... which is annoying and frustrating. that's totally not it
the two tracks which make up stereo could be just the same and still have a dc offset
it's a different thing
it's about the center of the waveform, it's too abstract to even understand how it influences the sound, but you only need to know that the center of the waveform should be at the center of the potential waveform space so 0db.

Almost all natural sounds have DC ofset .
A bassdrum gets hit on one side of the drum .
You blow into a trumpet .
Violins are bowed .
All these actions cause "DC ofset" .
Don't beleve me ? get some samples of real instruments and then reverse the phase in your sample editor , sometimes the results are extreme sometimes not , so use your ears before you eliminate DC ofset .
